So, do you think you are going to die so early ?? We are approaching that magical or mysterious date soon in 3 years which the Scientists, Astrologers and Thinkers are buzzing about. I am not in any of the above category but i certainly have a Scientific, Astrologically inclined - Thinking mind :) With that i mean to say that i have my way of analyzing and believing into the things which i feel is correct.

This made me to analyze things according to Vedic Astrology which many people considers to be perfect to some extent than its western counterparts. Western astrologers argue that the world is running in the Age of Aquarius and on Dec. 21, 2012, the day of the annual winter solstice, the Sun will rise roughly over the center of the Milky Way galaxy (as per Mayan Calendar) which may lead to the end of the world. They say it will start on Dec. 12, 2012 and everything will be destroyed by Dec. 21, 2012 in period of 9 days.  And on other hand Hindus believe that we are in the period of Kaliyug. The end of Kaliyug would mean the end of the world and the restart of the process of creation. Kaliyug is not ending immediately as per Vedic astrology. Atleast not in 3 years from now.

According to Vedic System - Satya Yuga lasted for 1,728,000 years. Treta Yuga lasted for 1,296,000 years. Dwapara Yuga lasted for 864,000 years and Kali Yuga will last for 432,000 years. It is believed that Kali Yuga began in 3102 B.C on Bhadrapad Krishna Trayodasho in the Midnight of a Sunday.

So, we will be completing only 5114 years of kaliyug and 426,886 years are still left before human civilization and this world is totally destroyed and re-created.

Seeing the above two charts, there are 5 planets in Scorpio on 12th Dec. 2012. In these nine days period Mars the planet of Earth moves to Capricorn - the Sign of its Exaltation. Moreover, Saturn which people believe is a planet of all destruction and Evil is in its sign of Exaltation too. This can not cause an End of the World as predicted and believed by many.

But yes one thing is for sure. The world as we see today will go spritually and relgiously to a great extent in this time around 2012. Planet of Justice, Saturn is in good position that will give immense decisive theories to man kind in this period. I dont see any end of world but old system may be replaced by the new. Old ideas may be replaced by the new. All these changes i think are not at all bad but will work in a constructive and improved manner for the Human Race.
