Swachh Bharat Abhiyan: What more needs to be done

It has been a little over one year since Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi launched Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Movement) on 2nd October 2014. This campaign aims to be run for 5 years till 2nd October 2019 and clean India by 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

To see how government is serious about this campaign, they are building public toilets across the country, nominating and involving celebrities and politicians to help create an awareness among general public. 12 Crore toilets will be built in next 5 years across the country. They have been successful in achieving this to a certain extent. However, much needs to be done still. Some have criticized this campaign as this was already existing from previous governments and known as -Nirmal Bharat campaign. But i wont comment on that as it is off topic.

In my view, it may take a few more generations to achieve its full objectives. But the way our PM has been working and taking a keen interest in this initiative himself is just very symbolic unlike his predecessors. Although this campaign has been run tirelessly by teachers of various schools and other public figures but we need to understand this. We cant achieve this without combined efforts of all. We as general public has to understand that although government makes laws and campaigns, but we ourselves also need to follow it. How many of us wait to find a dustbin to chuck rubbish instead of just throwing it on the roads ? We need to ask ourselves are we really doing it ? Forget about waiting to find a dustbin, we dont even stop at zebra crossing when pedestrians are crossing. It is pedestrians right to cross the zebra crossing and person riding the vehicle has to stop till all pedestrians cross it. But how many of us obey this law ?

Yes, it is very hard to manage many things when we are so large in numbers but we will have to help ourselves to achieve these things rather than blaming governments every now and then. First of all, as a law abiding citizens we need to make sure that we chuck the rubbish in appropriate dustbins placed by respective authorities. It will be unfair to criticize government when we ourselves dont abide by laws and rules. Authorities on other hand also need to make sure a public dustbin is placed at regular intervals in cities, towns and villages. They also need to make sure that proper arrangements are put in place to clean those dustbins regularly. This has to be implemented from very low level at Grampanchayats to Municipal Corporations. Councils needs to give dustbin removal facilities to the respective households weekly from their areas so that people dont throw liquid and other household waste on roads. This is when a sense of cleanliness will prevail in general public. Similarly, government authorities are building these toilets but it is us who need to understand that we need to use it  and dont liter anywhere we like. Otherwise every effort will go in vain and a total waste of tax payers money.

Other most important thing we need to do to make happen this initiative work is to keep stray animals off the roads. We can definately make humans realize the importance of cleanliness but not stray animals. We need to keep Cows, Buffaloes, Bulls, Goats, Dogs, Pigs etc off our roads. And i really mean it. We dont touch Cows, Bulls as they have religious importace. Are we for real ? Living in 21st century among animals ? Stray dogs have been a big nuisance in our locality where i live. They bark and run behind two wheelers at night time and most importantly they are very large in numbers in a group. We would never achieve cleanliness unless we do this one thing to remove animals off our roads. Our government has to build proper veterinary centres where such animals can be looked and cared after. Such centres needs to be in every village, town and city. On other hand cowherds and others also need to understand that they cant set free cows on roads once it stops giving milk. This is a normal practise among people who owns these cattles and a very seriously neglected one. Government should also run a campaign where each person registers their pets, cattles with them and than other left stray animals can be put into veterinary centres to put them off the roads.

Hope to see this happening one day in our country. Lets take a pledge to make it happen and help government achieve this. It has been great beginning otherwise. It is easy for me to write on website but it has to be our collective effort to achieve this.

Vande Mataram.
Jai Hind.

P.S. These are just my views and not to criticize Governemnt or other opposition political parties on what is being done and what needs to be done. No blame games.

BBC: India's Daughter

Indian government has banned this documentary due to very low comments by Mukesh Singh one of the rape accused, for the victim Jyoti Singh. However, BBC has went ahead and released this video ahead of previously planned Women's Day scheduled release.

Watching this my head is held in shame. I am coming from a place where Men has stoop down to this mentality ? Even the views presented by lawyers are so disturbing. Absolutely pathetic.

A Grand Strategy

Politics has never been very appealing to me untill in recent times when Arvind Kejriwal has come to lime light. I have been closely monitoring different statement and moves he makes since he ran away from Delhi in 49 days and have been doing the same for Narendra Modi.

In the greater scheme of things it now appears that there is a grand strategy running behind doors of both AAP and BJP to route Congress out of Delhi. Idea of BJP and AAP was to defeat Congress and promote Arvind Kejriwal as victorious in Delhi Elections in December 2013 itself. However, the voting didnt gave any party a majority. This led to a strategy change to wipe out Congress on its own perch.

AAP took outside support from Congress to form the government in Delhi. However, Arvind Kejriwal resigned in 49 days as his demand for passing of Lok Pal was not fulfilled due to opposition from Congress support. This started a downfall of Congress. On the other hand of the schemes, Arvind Kejriwal started preparing to compete with Narendra Modi in upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Varanasi. He started making irresponsible comments on Narendra Modi and other BJP leaders. This gave a rise to Modi wave in parts of India other than BJP ruling states. At this stage, Arvind Kejriwal targetted only BJP and not Congress. This also gave rise to the thought of AAP being a B team of Congress. This became a soul reason of Congress being routed in Lok Sabha Elections in May 2014. Congress was decimated to dust.

After BJP forming a government at the Centre now all eyes were back on Delhi. Coming back to Delhi Elections 2015 the strategy was same but this time it was in reverse order. Just few days before elections Narendra Modi came out and started making irresponsible comments about Arvind Kejriwal. BJP injected Shazia Ilmi, Kiran Bedi and Vinod Kumar Binny and made a very targeted move. Amit Shah, the master strategist, appointed Kiran Bedi and made a convenient scapegoat. This gave rise to AAP's popularity and which inturn gave a massive majority to AAP.  This is how they strategically wiped out Congress from Delhi which was ruling the capital since last 15 years.

BJP knew they can't win in Delhi on their own because of the weak local leaders. This defeat in Delhi will serve very well for BJP and AAP. Arvind Kejriwal can now serve as CM of Delhi and BJP can now concentrate on ground level at upcoming elections in UP and Bihar. Arvind Kejriwal met Venkiah Naidu and Rajnath Singh today and was assured of all support from centre. He will also be meeting Narendra Modi tomorrow (12/02/15), who has already tweeted to give all support to Arvind Kejriwal for Delhi from centre. There is no voice of Lok Pal Bill anymore. No Bhagoda or AK49 comments. Narendra Modi for PM, Arvind Kejriwal for CM. Everyone is happy.

BJP is on a mission to strategically and systematically wiping out Congress from INDIA.

Too Stupidly Good - India : Pak War

Scenario 1. During the Cold War, if USA launched a nuke-loaded missile, Soviet Satellites would   inform the Soviet army in 3 seconds and in less than 45 seconds Soviet counter-missiles would be on their way.

Scenario 2. Recent studies commissioned by US department of Defense included one on nuclear war between India and Pakistan :

3. This was the scenario.... ......... ...

Pakistani Side: The Pakistan army decides to launch a nuke-missile towards India. They don\'t need any permission from their government, and promptly order the countdowns. Indian technology is highly advanced. In less than 8 seconds, Indian army detects the Pak countdown and decides to launch a missile in retribution.

Indian Side: But they need permission from the Government of India. They submit their request to the Indian President. The President forwards it to the Cabinet.

The Prime Minister calls an emergency Lok Sabha session. The LS meets, but due to several walkouts and severe protests by the opposition, it gets adjourned indefinitely.
The President asks for a quick decision.

Pakistani Side: In the mean time, the Pak missile failed to take off due to technical failure. Their attempts for a re-launch are still on.

Indian Side: Just then the Indian ruling party is reduced to a minority because a party that was giving outside support withdraws it. The President asks the PM to prove his majority within a week. As the ruling party fails to win the confidence vote, a caretaker government is installed.

The caretaker PM decides to permit the armed forces to launch a nuclear missile. But the Election Commission says that a caretaker government cannot take such a
decision because elections are at hand.

The Election Commission files Public Interest Litigation in the Supreme Court alleging misuse of power. The Supreme Court comes to the rescue of the PM, and says the acting! PM is authorized to take this decision in view of the emergency facing the

Pakistani Side: Just then one of the Pak missiles successfully took off, but it fell 367 miles away from the target, on its own government building in Islamabad at 11.00 AM. Fortunately there were no casualties as no employee had reached the office that early. In any case, the
nuclear core of the missile had detached somewhere in flight. The Pakistan army is now trying to get better technologies from China and USA .

Indian Side: The Indian Government, taking no chances, decides to launch a nuclear missile of its own, after convening an all-party meeting. This time all the parties agree. Its three months since the army had sought permission. But as preparations begin, \"pro-humanity\" , \"anti-nuclear\" activists come out against theGovernment\' s decision. Human chains are formed and Rasta rokos organized. In California and Washington endless e-mails are sent to Indians condemning the government and mentioning \"Please forward it to as many Indians as possible\".

Pakistani Side:On the Pakistan side, the missiles kept malfunctioning. Some missiles deviate from target due to technical failures or high-speed wind blowing over Rajasthan. Many of them land in the Indian Ocean killing some fishes.

A missile (smuggled from USA) is pressed into service. Since the Pakistan army is unable to understand its software, it hits it original destination: Russia. Russians successfully intercepts the missile and in retaliation launches a nuclear missile towards Islamabad . The missile hits the target and creates havoc.

Pakistan cries for help. India expresses deep regrets for what has happened and sends in a million dollars worth of Parle-G biscuits.

Thus India never gets to launch the missile. Pakistan never gets it right. And both live happily ever after!!!! .

Bal Thackeray should be Hanged

Remember my article Raj Thackeray is a Terrorist a few months ago ?? Now his uncle, Bal Thackeray has gone nuts it seems. Because every other day you hear him attacking one public figure and making more fun of his own and his family name. No offense intended Mr. Bal Thackeray but you have definately made a mockery of yourself here.

I think this 84 year dude has seriously lost it. He should be seriously be sent to either re-hab centre or to old age home. Its his time for "Vanaprasthashram". He is of opinion that Pakistani and Australian cricketers should not be playes in IPL as Pakistanis spread terrorism and Australians does racism with Indian students. But i think, in this process he himself has forgotten that by claiming "Mumbai for Marathi Manoos" he is spreading same hatered in India itself. Sorry to make you hear this way, but North Indians, South Indians, Gujaratis, Bengalis, Kasmiris, Tamils.... they are Indians too. They are also equally hurt when something goes wrong in name of Nation.

Whatever Shah Rukh Khan has said is nothing wrong. Yes, everyone has freedom of speech but that freedom of speech should not be used against any individual. For Gods Sake, dont mix your dirty politics with film or sport people. What if Shah Rukh said Pakistanis are welcomed in India to play Cricket. So did other IPL Franchisers said and even several Political leaders like Chidambaram too voiced that. Why do you have problem with one particular person than ?

I dont think there is any one else who is  more bigger traitor than you yourself. And what if Biharis and UP people come and work and make their lives in Mumbai ? Atleast they are not beating, hitting, ostracising, abusing and threatening innocent fellow indians like you and your shit shiv sainiks do. I am also ashamed of saying Shiv Sena being a follower of Lord Shiva. Instead do something productive, if not in Maharashtra than atleast in Mumbai by educating children, improving living standards of people etc. just as your name - Shiv Sena.

I think government should take some heavy actions against this 84 year old maniac who has lost it completely. He should be prosecuted in interest of Nation for dividing mindset of people and spreading Violence in Mumbai. No wonder Valentines Day is coming and i dont see it is going to be a peaceful one in Mumbai. All Thackerays (Bal, Uddhav and Raj) should be Hanged publicly if they hit, abuse and threat again to fellow Mumbaikars and Indians. This statement is for betterment of our society.
